Introduction
Change is often daunting, but it can lead to extraordinary transformations. Hi, I’m Christine, and after 20+ years as an accountant, I embarked on a new path as a Business and Life Coach. In this post, I’ll share my journey and the insights I’ve gained along the way.
From Crunching Numbers to Changing Lives
For over two decades, I crunched numbers, analyzed financial statements, and ensured fiscal responsibility. It was a fulfilling career, but deep down, I yearned for something more impactful. My heart called me to make a difference in people’s lives, to help them navigate their challenges and achieve their dreams.
The Turning Point
A significant turning point came when I worked for Mr. Jeff Vinik in his family office. Trusted by a billionaire who owns the Tampa Bay Lightning, I realized the importance of aligning professional success with personal fulfillment. The answer to a sticky note on my bathroom mirror, asking, “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today?” was a resounding “No.” This realization propelled me to transition into coaching.
Becoming an ICF Certified Life Coach
I chose to become an ICF certified Life Coach through Accomplishment Coaching. The rigorous year-long program in Chicago equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support my clients effectively. Today, I help individuals bounce back from betrayal, handle conflicts, and create meaningful connections.
Conclusion
Embracing change was challenging, but it led to a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
